Too fat for cedar point: Or, finding my motivation

My sister, her fiance' and me and my bf want to all go to cedar point this august. As of last year at 240 lbs I could fit in all the rides at kennywood, but I hear that for a couple of the rides at Cedar Point (millennium force and top thrill dragster) you need to be of certain weight/height. (under 200 lbs or under a size 18 for a woman.) I'm under a size 18 at like 230-240 so since I'm not 5 feet tall I should be fine if I can lose some before August to get me back down to a 16. Millenium Force: Top Thrill Dragster: Anyhow, I haven't felt this peppy about weight loss in awhile. Guess I just needed some type of outside goal. I froze the cupcakes! Giving more away today when I see my friend. It was fun though. :)

I know you guys are excited....

I stopped in target to do some shopping last night and picked up some new placemats and a few assorted colors and styles of dishes and bowls to use to make the blog nicer. Here is my first pic, I replaced the old pic of the basil red pepper pasta with veggies.  Wooo! I'm totally sprucing this place up! ;) Also, I know I'm most likely the only one excited about this one, but today is me and my bf's anniversary. It has been 16 glorious years, everyday I'm more happy than the last. Every day, I don't know that I could be more happy and yet the next day comes and there it is. More good times, more happy. :) I know he's reading this, so happy anniv, love! :) We have a full day ahead planned for us, and I will post later tonight about what we did since it's definitely weight loss relevant. ;)

Building success

I've never been successful with weight loss. It's difficult to even try and imagine yourself a success at something that you've tried and failed so miserably at so many times in your life. It doesn't feel real. But, you've got to start somewhere. I'm keeping a list of my small successes and milestones. I figure the only way to get to feeling like I am a success at this, is to keep track and give myself a pat on the back for even the smallest success. They will all add up. 1.) Remain binge free for 30 days-- CHECK!   2.) Lose 20 lbs -- CHECK!   3.) Make exercise a part of my life -- CHECK!   4.) Stay 100% On Plan throughout Thanksgiving. -- CHECK!   5.) Get back down to the weight requirement so that I can use the elliptical (250 lbs) --   6.) Get back to my (2nd) shocking high weight, 275 lbs-- CHECK!   7.) Get back to my FIRST shocking high weight, 260 lbs! -- CHECK!   8.) Remain binge free for ANOTHER 30 days! -- CHECK! (60 days down!)   9.) ...
